Our GOAL:  To provide better than expected production with maximum core recoveries. GDL achieves this by using the latest in support and drilling equipment.  Our Atlas Copco CS1000 P4 has a much higher production rate compared to older mechanical drills. The P4 has a drilling depth capacity of 610 meters with NQ and 1,070 meters with BQ.     

    

Our CREWS:  All personnel have extensive experience in the north.  We are able to supply support equipment for unitized drill programs and expertise when using helicopter support - ensuring work is done in a timely and cost efficient manner.

Geotechnical - Environmental Drilling

Gateway Drilling Ltd., also provides services for site investigations and monitoring well installations.  GDL's truck mounted Mobile B-53 is a full service geotechnical - environmental drilling unit.  The B-53 is equipped with a SPT Auto Hammer, 27’ tower and 3 winch lines -  it's a superior machine in its class!

 

When access to a site is restricted to aircraft only …

 

GDL has two (2) light weight heli-portable drills

capable of achieving depths of 120' with 4' augers.
